Cooperative Outreach of India has been conducting Summer Camp for children from the slum communities, during summer vacations. Through Summer Camp children get a chance to learn meaningful stories, songs, moral values, games, crafts and Truth. Through these activities, children learn to work together, develop character, and live meaningfully. Each year over 1000 children participate in Summer Camp.
Our Summer Camp is more than just a week-long children’s camp. For these children it is quite possibly the only time each year they have a change to be completely free! Children in these communities always have responsibility, whether it is fetching water for the family, school, helping with dinner or younger siblings, these children do not get to experience the freedom and innocence of being a child! This week-long camp provides them a safe place to explore Truth and Love in a way they have never experienced before!
